Gown Sizing 
Your measurements help us which manufacturer’s standard dress size to recommend.  Your normal dress size may not correspond to your “Special Order,” size and this is normal.  You, the client, are responsible for selecting your own size, based on the manufacturer’s size chart.  We are happy to recommend, but our consultants are not permitted to select your size for you. The client determines the size to be ordered. 

 

Gown size charts 
Size charts from each factory serve as a general guideline to help us determine your size. It is best to go by the fit and cut of a particular sample, if possible. As a general rule, the client’s largest measurement (bust, waist, hip) determines the size to be ordered, according to the factory’s size chart. Glenrose Florals to Formals cannot be responsible if the factory produces a gown in measurements different from the manufacturer’s size chart, or different from the sample size. 

We recommend that you select your dress size based on your measurements as compared to the manufacturer’s size chart. We do NOT recommend that you order your gown in your “normal size” street clothing. Glenrose Florals to Formals cannot be responsible  for the size order on any customer who did not come in to our store for us to measure. The client takes full responsibility for selecting your own gown size 9 months before, during and after a pregnancy. Extra fabric may be ordered by the yard (priced per yard), and seamstresses are available by appointment for alterations at standard fees. See your salesperson for price by the yard. 

 

Larger sizes
(size 16-18 and up): Most manufacturers have dresses and gowns available in a wide range of sizes. Many require an extra sizing fee, depending on the manufacturer. Please see your salesperson for details. 

 

Extra fabric
Extra fabric is not included in the price of the gowns and is priced per yard. For gowns with more than one layer, you may wish to order extra fabric per yard of each layer. We recommend that extra be ordered separately, manufacturer cannot guarantee that the fabric will come from the same bolt of fabric or dye lot as the gowns. The fabric, however will coordinate with your gowns ordered, and will be a close enough shade match as to blend in with your dresses. 

 

Gown Length
Note that gown length may vary from the sample within 1” of the sample ordered. We recommend that you buy your shoes after the gown arrives. If you are taller then 5’8” in heels, you will probably need to add additional length, at your discretion. Extra length is not included in the price of the gown, and is charged per gown. Length is added in a standard pattern and thus, it may be necessary to have your extra length shortened. Some manufacturers allow a “petite” size which will shorten the standard length size. This is available for an additional fee that is not included in the price of the gown. 

 

Ship date, shipping policy and rush fee
Once your order is placed, we receive an “expected ship date” from the factory. We usually receive your shipment within 5-10 business days after this expected ship date. A “rush” charge will shorten the length of time from delivery of your order. However not all manufacturer’s will accept a “rush” order, so we recommend that bridal gowns be ordered 4-6 months ahead. Rush charges or fees are the responsibility of the client, and are charged per item. Rush fees are non-refundable. Manufacturer is responsibility for shipping delays. 

 

Shipping and orders out of town
For out of town clients, we will be happy to ship you your special order item to the person wearing the gown. All shipping and insurance cost are the responsibility of the client. Out of town alterations are the responsibility of the recipient. We will not reimburse for differences in regional alteration costs, and cannot be responsible for the quality of out of town alterations, or cleaning/pressing or storage fees. 

 

Alterations
Alterations are not included in the price of our gowns. Remember, gowns are NOT custom made to your personal measurements. Your measurements help determine which standard size to recommend. Your gown is not guaranteed to fit without the need for alterations. Extra length is available for an additional charge, if requested. We are pleased to offer alterations on-site. An alteration quote is provided in written form, and all alterations must be paid in full prior to the seamstress starting the work.. Several fittings are sometimes necessary on bridal and formal gowns. A final fitting with your seamstress is always recommended. 

 

Pressing
Pressing is available by appointment and is charges on a per-piece basis. Your seamstress or sales consultant can give you a quote on pressing services. We require a minimum of 10-14 days notice to have your gown pressed. Pressed gowns will be available the Thursday prior to the event date, after 4pm. An alternate time may be arranged with your consultant. 

 

Try ons
Once your gown has arrived, you may schedule an appointment to try your gown on. We ask that gown try ons be limited to Monday –Friday only- they are not available on Saturdays. Please call your consultant to arrange an appointment. 

 

Sample / off the rack merchandise
Sample, sale and off the rack merchandise are sold is AS-IS condition. All cleaning and alteration costs are the responsibility of the client. No refunds, returns or exchanges for “off the rack” or sale merchandise. 

 

Refund / cancellation policy
It is our policy that all sales are final sales. All payments and deposits are non-refundable. In the event that the wedding is cancelled, or postponed, we are not able to stop or refund orders. If your event is cancelled, you are entitled to your merchandise. Any orders not claimed within 30 days of the event date will be considered “abandoned” and will become the property of Glenrose Florals to Formals. 

 

Accessory dyeing
Shoes and purses etc. can be dyed as requested for additional fee. Dyeing will bring the item as close to the sample as possible, but may not be exact match due to natural variations.

 

Price Matching
At Glenrose Florals to Formals we pride ourselves in the value we are able to give to our consumers. We are confident that we are able to offer our consumers the lowest possible price. It is our policy to price match within the Twin City Metro area. We reserve the right to verify the lowest price quoted before we will match or beat a price. We do not price match against the internet as all of our designers strictly prohibit their designs from being sold online. We strive to offer the service and value that only trained consultants in a brick-and-mortar store can provide. 

 

Discounts/Sale items
For items that are place on sale or are discounted, the greatest discount will apply to the total sale. The client may not combine more then one offer, special, discount or coupon to any purchase. For multi-service discounts, if a discount given exceeds the multi-service discount, the greater discount only will apply.

Bridal gowns are normally 4-6 months
All other gowns are normally 2-4 months
Some gowns maybe in stock which delivery would be 1-2 weeks
Manufactures do not guarantee their delivery dates they are tentative and are subject to change.

Confirmation
Once your order is placed, we will receive confirmation of estimated ship date, which we will notify you by email at various points of the ordering process.
